In this excursion, we will depart towards the region of Utiel – Requena, a well known area for its famous vineyards, where you will be able to try the typical wines of the place.

The towns of Utiel and Requena, historically have belonged to the province of Cuenca, being its territory known as the “Valencia Castellana”, due to its previous membership in the Castellana province of Cuenca.

In the border area between Utiel-Requena and Cuenca, we will visit the natural park of Hoces del Cabriel, this is the largest protected area of the Comunidad Valenciana. This park is located on the left bank of the River Cabriel, which is the largest tributary of the River Júcar and one of the biggest rivers in Valencia. Here, we will practice some Aquatic Trekking in an incredible natural environment, surrounded by pines and holm oaks, water rapids and other natural attractions.

Within its limits, there are also various ravines and cliffs which converge in it. In addition, there is another formation called the knifes, caused by the erosion of the soft part of the rocks, which has generated an important vertical crest.
